Provincial Achievement Testing 
Congratulations to our grade nine students who worked hard on their ELA writing PATs on Thursday. The teaching team was so impressed by students’ resilience and commitment to doing their best work. Well done.  

Our grade sixes will have their first PAT on Monday, May 25. We are confident that they are ready for the challenge and are ready to support them.  

A special thank you to the students in other grades who did a great job of handling changes to their day. They showed respect and created a positive environment for our students.  

Fine Arts Night 

We are so excited for the Fine Arts Night on Thursday, May 28. Students from all of our complementary classes have been working hard. We look forward to performances from the band and drama departments, displays of creativity and ingenuity from our art, design, and construction departments, and our leadership students showing their public speaking skills. Performances begin at 5:30. We hope to see you there.  

Drop Off and Pick Up Reminders 

When dropping students off and picking them up at school, please be mindful of safety and of our neighbours. Please avoid the bus parking zone in front of the school and be mindful of not blocking driveways. To avoid congestion, please consider meeting your student further down the sidewalk towards the community centre. Students should also remember to cross at the corner and look both ways before crossing the road. Your attention to safety is appreciated.
