Week of September 18

Dear Families,

Thank you to all families who took the time to come and meet our teachers and staff. We appreciate the opportunity to learn more about our students and build relationships.

We have had a busy couple of weeks at the school. Our grade eight students built curricular connections on their Kananaskis field trip. Next week, the grade nines will be participating in River Watch to study water safety and quality in the field. We are very appreciative of the science team who made this work happen.

We would not be able to run field trips without the support of parent volunteers. This year, there is a change in the CPS Police Information Check Process. Interested volunteers need to get a letter from the school to use to apply for the Police Information Check online. For more information, please see the following link: https://cbe.ab.ca/get-involved/volunteer/Pages/volunteer.aspx

Our Cross-Country athletes have almost finished their season. Good luck to all of the runners in their final race on Monday. The basketball teams have been selected and are training together. Our first games are next week. Go Panthers!

The Tuck Shop is officially opening on October 2. Please see attached for a preview of the food that will be served. There are a variety of hot and cold menu items available Monday to Thursday.
