Dear families, 

Thank you very much to all of the parents and students who came to the conferences this week. These conferences support student learning and are valuable opportunities for families and teachers to work together as a team. 

This week, our grade seven students enjoyed field trips to the zoo. Thank you very much to the Grade 7 science team for organizing these, and to all of the parent volunteers who came out to support. 

We are in the process of finalizing the hiring of the new Gr. 8 teacher. Families of students in grade eight will be receiving another message with details about the timeline and transitions. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. 

Thank you to the leadership and guidance team at Dr. E. P. Scarlett. Our grade nine students enjoyed a presentation which provided perspective and information on the high school experience. Grade Nine families, please be attentive to your email through the new year, as high school registration information will start to pick up significantly in January.
