Week of November 20

Dear Families,

We hope you enjoyed a restful fall break.  Thank you to all of our students for participating so well in our lockdown practice on Thursday and fire drill on Friday.  We look forward to seeing you at parent conferences next week.

Basketball

As we wrap up our basketball season and move into playoffs, we would like to thank our coaches for their dedication and commitment to their teams.  We would like to thank our parents for supporting their athletes through practices and games and tournaments.  We would also like to thank our players for demonstrating outstanding teamwork and perseverance.  We are proud of all of our Panthers.

If Senior Boys win their playoff game, they will play their second playoff game on Wednesday November 22nd. All other teams (Junior Boys, Junior Girls, Senior Girls) will play their second playoff game the following week if they win their first playoff game. Good luck to all teams!

School Conferences

We are looking forward to school conferences, which are scheduled for Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th.  All conferences will be held in person in the gym.  On Thursday, November 23rd, we will have conferences from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m..   On Friday, November 24th we will have conferences from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m..   All conferences can be booked using the School Conferences app which is available in your myCBE account.

To accommodate as many families as possible each session is scheduled for 10 minutes. The School Conferences app will open on Saturday, November 18th at 8:00 a.m. and close on Wednesday, November 22nd at midnight.

School conferences are an opportunity to engage in conversation about your child's learning. Parents, guardians, students, and teachers are able to connect and communicate openly about student learning, especially with respect to areas of strength and areas of growth. They help build and sustain respectful relationships that allow both parties to share information and develop strategies to support student success.
