Dear Families,
Our Grade 8 students had a wonderful time at the theatre watching the Legally Blonde play. Thank you to the Humanities team for organizing this fantastic day to experience the Fine Arts!
Our students did amazing in the Track & Field Meets this week. Thank you to Mrs. Broks and the Phys. Ed. team, and Mrs. Dowson and the ALP team for organizing these events, and to all of our parent volunteers.
We have a busy week with Grade 6 and 9 PATs, please see below for the scheduled dates. We also have wonderful celebrations coming up.
National Indigenous Peoples Day:
National Indigenous Peoples Day is celebrated on the summer solstice (June 21st), the longest day of the year. This time holds deep cultural and spiritual meaning for many First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities. For generations, it has been a time to honour and celebrate Indigenous cultures, languages, and traditions. The solstice symbolizes renewal, connection, and the richness of Indigenous heritage.
We are looking forward to celebrating this day with our school community and feeder schools on Friday, June 20th.
Yearbooks:
If you would like a yearbook, they are available to order until June 27th. Visit Lifetouch here and use the yearbook ID code 15068125.
Lost & Found:
We have several lost items that need to go back to their homes! Our lost and found is at the front entrance of the school. Please remind your child(ren) to have a look. All unclaimed items will be donated on Friday, June 20th.
