Dear Families,


It is hard to believe that September is over already. We had a busy and exciting week at Harold Panabaker. The grade nines and remaining grade eights enjoyed science field trips where they applied their lessons in the field. 

Thank you so much to the parent volunteers for the grade eight and grade nine teams. Without your support, we would not be able to run field trips.


Today, our school commemorated the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Students learned about reconciliation through lessons in their science, English, and math classes. The Calgary Board of Education invites all families to a public commemorative event hosted by the City of Calgary in friendship with CBE and the Calgary Catholic School District (CCSD) on Saturday, September 30 at Fort Calgary. On Friday October 6th, all students will be participating in the Terry Fox Run during their PE class. Donations of a Toonie for Terry are appreciated and will be collected in PhysEd all week.

 

Our tuck shop is up and running next week. We are very excited about Chef Molina’s menu.
