Dear Families, 

Welcome back to all of our students. We missed you. 

We wanted to connect with families today as we know that the last few weeks have been challenging for our parents, students, and staff. Our number one priority is to reconnect with students and establish conditions which help them to feel comfortable, safe, and supported for learning. We will continue to work together as teaching teams to build relationships and support student learning.  

From all of us at Harold Panabaker, thank you for your patience, advocacy and resilience. Families are our most important learning partners and we are grateful for you as we transition back to our learning communities. If your child requires any additional support, please do not hesitate to reach out.  As always, thank you for your support. Please see below for our weekly update.

Clubs and Teams 

All extracurricular clubs, teams, and after-school activities will be paused for the week. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to sharing updates about extracurricular activities soon.  

Communication

We kindly ask for your understanding regarding response time to emails. Teachers and administrators have only regained access to our applications this morning and our immediate focus is on supporting classrooms and students. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we reconnect and re-establish our learning community. 

Halloween

Students are invited to wear their costumes to school on Friday to celebrate Halloween if they wish. To ensure the safety and comfort of all, please remember:  

• Costumes should allow students to participate fully in classroom learning and school activities. 
• Students may not bring weapon-themed accessories to school. 
• If a students’ costume includes a mask that covers the full face, they may bring it for photos and to show their friends but will not be permitted to wear it in the hallways or classroom spaces during the rest of the day.
