School Conferences are coming up this month. Thursday, March 19, 5:00-8:00 PM In Person. Friday, March 20 9:00-1:30 Online.
Conferences will open for families on Monday, March 9 at 9:00 AM. Families will be able to book conferences using their MyCBE account.

Grade Seven Community Program
Over two weeks in April, YW Calgary will be in the grade 7 classrooms running their HERE (HE=here, RE=relationships) for Youth program. Through four sessions, the facilitators will cover topics such as different types of relationships, identifying and understanding emotions, red and green flags, resilience and managing uncomfortable emotions, signs of abuse in relationships, and safety strategies.
HERE for Youth has been running in various Calgary schools over the past three years, and we are excited to bring it to Panabaker. The program will take place in two sessions per week during class time.
Volleyball Playoffs
Our Volleyball teams are moving into their playoffs this month. Good luck to all of the teams. The schedule will change depending on the outcome of different games, coaches will be keeping their players up to date. We are so proud of all of our players and the growth and hard work they have maintained through the year. Thank you to all of our coaches who have worked so hard to develop their teams and provide them with this opportunity. Thank you to our scorekeeping crew who have supported the school with hosting games.
Grade Nine Transfer Form Reminder
This is a reminder to all grade nine families that, if your child is applying to transfer to a school that is not their designated school (for example, if they are applying to the IB programme), they must complete the transfer form prior to March 15 or the transfer will not be considered.
Invitation: Grade Nine Indigenous Students Round Dance
On Thursday, April 30, the CBE will be hosting a mini-round dance celebration honouring Indigenous students who are transitioning to grade nine. Students and their families, as well as staff, are welcome to attend. Please see the attached poster for more information about the event and how to register.
