Upcoming High School Open Houses 

For our grade nine families, there are many Open Houses this week. Please consider attending with your child. These are a great opportunity to ask and answer questions and learn more about the programs and choices.

Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth – Transitions to High School Programs 

We would like to invite you to participate in the workshop “Transition to High School,” which will be held in English, Ukrainian, and Spanish and is aimed at 9th-grade students and their parents. This workshop will provide important information to understand the high school system in Alberta, learn about the expectations and academic requirements, and adequately prepare for a successful transition to high school.

 StarGATE Mentorship Program 

Our club is committed to supporting students in grades 5 to 12 by offering educational opportunities, including one-on-one tutoring and mentoring. Every year, through our partnership with the Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) program, we’re thrilled to continue our mentorship initiative, connecting high school students with University of Calgary mentors. 

 Students can submit their applications using the link below or scan the QR code in the poster that I have provided. The deadline to apply is February 1st, 2026 at 11:59PM Additional information about our club is also included in the link.
