We have a lot of fun spring activities on the go as we head into our last week before March break. Thank you to all of our staff who are working hard alongside our students to make this week special. We look forward to seeing you at our School Conferences next week.

Volleyball Season
Thank you to all of our coaches, players, volunteers, and referees for a wonderful volleyball season. Our Senior teams and our Junior Girls Volleyball teams are hanging up their jerseys for another year. Our Junior Boys are heading to finals on Wednesday night at John Ware. Go Panthers.
Senior Teams will be having a wrap up party on Wednesday, March 18 from 4:00-5:30 PM. Please bring your jerseys back. The junior wrap up party will be scheduled and announced soon.
School Council Meeting
Our School Council will be meeting on Wednesday, March 18 at 6:30 PM in the library. New members are always welcome. We look forward to seeing you then.
School Conferences
School Conferences are coming up next week: Thursday, March 19, 5:00-8:00 PM In Person. Friday, March 20 9:00-1:30 Online. Families can book conferences using their MyCBE account.
Spirit Week
The leadership classes have put together a Spirit Week to take us into March break with fun and excitement. Theme days are below in the calendar for the week.
Talent Show
We are excited to share some of the talents of our Panabaker school community. We will be having a Talent Show on Thursday, March 19 at 2:00 PM. Thank you to all of the students who are sharing their talents with us. Families are welcome to attend.
Band Camp
Our grade eight and nine band students are heading for Band Camp from Monday to Wednesday next week. Have fun, work hard, and make memories!
March Break
The school is closed from March 23-26 for March break. There are no classes for students on Friday, March 20 for school conferences (online).
Grade Seven Community Program
Over two weeks in April, YW Calgary will be in the grade 7 classrooms running their HERE (HE=here, RE=relationships) for Youth program. Through four sessions, the facilitators will cover topics such as different types of relationships, identifying and understanding emotions, red and green flags, resilience and managing uncomfortable emotions, signs of abuse in relationships, and safety strategies.
HERE for Youth has been running in various Calgary schools over the past three years, and we are excited to bring it to Panabaker. The program will take place in two sessions per week during class time.
