Athletics

Congratulations to our Cross Country Athletes on their first meet. We are so proud of you for your efforts. Go Panthers!

Our basketball teams have been chosen. Thank you to all students who tried out. Games and practice schedules will be announced by your coaches.

Admirable Use of Technology

On Friday students received a document about the use of technology in the school. Please review this with your child and return it with your signature. A copy of the policy is available here.

Upcoming School Conferences

School conferences are coming up at the end of the month. These are a great opportunity for you to help your child’s teachers learn more about them.

On Thursday, September 25, conferences will be scheduled in-person from 5:00-8:30. On Friday, September 26, conferences will be virtual from 2:00-4:00. Please note that there are classes scheduled on Friday.

Safety at Drop-Off and Pick-Up

Our school is a very busy place at drop off and pick up times. Please be mindful of where you are parking to avoid neighbours’ driveways and the bus zone (which is signed). It can be helpful to identify a meeting place further along the block with your kids to avoid congestion.

Please remind your children to cross the road safely. They should not cut between or closely in front of buses as there is limited visibility, nor should they run across the road.

Support Available for Families

We are fortunate to be connected with the Brown Bagging for Kids Program, which provides free school lunches for those who need them. If you would benefit from this program, please contact Kerry Dickson ( kldickson@cbe.ab.ca ).

School Council Message

Please join us for the first School Council meeting on Wednesday, September  17th at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments are provided. Please come and join our current members and meet some parents. Get involved!
