Remembrance Day Assembly
Thank you very much to the students and staff who put together this year’s Remembrance Day Assembly. We are so proud of our students who showed their talents in drama, band, readings, and MCing. Today was a beautiful day to reflect and remember those who served and continue to serve.
Fall Break Reminder
Please note that the school will be closed from Friday, November 8 to Wednesday, November 13 for fall break. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Thursday, November 14.
Rock Your Mocs – Friday, November 15
What is Rock Your Mocs? Established 2011, Rock Your Mocs, is a worldwide Native American & Indigenous Peoples unity event held annually and during National Native American Heritage Month in the U.S.A. People wear their moccasins wherever their day takes them.
We encourage you to wear moccasins, if you have them, to honour Indigneous peoples worldwide. If you do not have moccasins, the colour turquoise is associated with the day, wear something in the blue or green family if you would like to participate!
Student Well-Being Working Group
We are looking for students interested in making positive change at Harold Panabaker to join our Student Well-Being Group. Students will work with Ms. Broks and Ms. Roach to identify goals for the school and work on projects to support our sense of community and well-being. We will have our first meeting on Monday, November 18 at lunch. All grades are welcome.
