Dear Families,
Thank you to our panther families for such a great week. The band played beautifully at Winds from the South on Monday at the Jack Singer Hall and received very strong feedback. Gr. 9 students thoroughly enjoyed As You Like It at Theatre Calgary. All of our students had an amazing time working with Elder Shirley on Hoop Dancing. The PE team brought in an Artist in Residence to teach HipHop. All in all, it was a very fun and exciting week.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be on March 21 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and March 22 8:00 a.m-1:30 p.m. Bookings will be open next Friday, and a message will be sent with instructions on how to book. Parent Conferences provide important opportunities for teachers and families to work together to support student learning.
Community Engagement Meeting
Please save the date for a special community engagement meeting on March 20 beginning at 6:30. This is a chance for all families to connect and share their ideas for future planning with the school. It will take place before our parent council meeting. In the spirit of building community, we will be having a potluck. There will also be door prizes available. Come out to learn more about next year planning, connect with other families, and make your voice heard.
