PE Update
As the weather gets colder, we want to make sure that students continue to be prepared for comfortable participation in athletics. As such, we will be asking students to change for PE beginning in January. Students can wear athletic pants or shorts, and athletic shirts of their choosing. Sneakers are required.
Winter Concert
Thank you to the band and drama classes for their outstanding performances on Wednesday. We are all so proud of the work and learning students have done. Thank you to our foods class volunteers who ran the bake sale to support our Fine Arts Programs.
Lost and Found
Our lost and found contains many items. Please remind your child to collect their personal items. Unclaimed items will be donated after Wednesday, December 18.
ALP Fundraiser
This holiday season, our ALP students are collaborating with Parachutes For Pets (https://www.parachutesforpets.com/)- a local non-profit which is dedicated to helping individuals in Calgary who are facing hardship by ensuring that their pets are cared for and supported during crises.
Our students will be volunteering by making holiday cards which will be distributed in Christmas hampers for pets/ their owners in December. As well, students will be making cards with short stories which will be read to pets who remain in the organization's care over Christmas.
In addition, our class is looking to collect donations of the following items:

Leadership Fundraiser
Our leadership class at Harold Panabaker wants to help those experiencing homelessness and poverty by filling socks with essential donations. Supporting individuals in need during the cold winter months is a simple yet impactful gesture of compassion which aims to bring hope and positive impact to the lives of those in need. Our leadership class will take all the donations, fill the socks and deliver them to the Drop-in Centre in the week leading up to Christmas.
Please bring any donations to Harold Panabaker School by Tuesday, December 17.
