Dear Families,
Thank you to all of the families who came to our school conferences this week. We appreciated the opportunity to connect with you to support students. Thank you also the families who attended the School Engagement Meeting on Wednesday. This week we also enjoyed the incredible talents of some of our students who performed at our talent show. Our volleyball teams finished their seasons, and all demonstrated exceptional growth and development together. We are so proud of all of our students.
Spring Break
Spring break is next week. We hope that all of our students enjoy this time to recharge and enjoy their time. Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 2.
Running Club
Mrs. Law and Mrs. Fischer will be starting a jogging/running club on Mondays at lunch. We will be doing the route that we do for our Terry Fox run (around EMJ and our school). All levels are welcome as it is intended for absolute beginners and those that are experienced (we will have different paces). Those that are interested please meet in Mrs. Fischer’s room 25 on the first day back after spring break to get information and a letter to take home to parents (for potential grade 5 & 6’s) since we will be off campus.
Badminton Tryouts
Badminton tryouts begin after Spring Break. The tryouts are the week of April 2 and the week of April 8. Grade 6-8’s can try out for Junior Team. Grades 8-9’s can try out for the Senior Team. Good luck to all who are trying out!
Sailing Trip
The sailing trip is almost here. Students will be on the sailing trip from April 2-April 5. We wish our grade nine sailors a wonderful time exploring the Pacific Ocean and learning through this experience. Thank you so much to Mrs. Easton, Mr. Doerksen, and Mr. McClure for their commitment to making this trip possible for students.
School Engagement Survey
This is a reminder of our School Engagement Survey. We are asking families to share their perspectives about the school development plan, school budget, and school fees. The survey is open from March 11 to March 31. Please click here to complete the survey.
Your input is important to us, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your perspectives.
